Review 1:Many adults have discovered the benefit of wipes in maintaining personal cleanliness, both in the bathroom at home and in the field.
For years I have carried wipes in my bag, and in particular in the fanny pack I carry when I run, because portajohns are notoriously unhygienic.
Now Charmin has packaged wipes for adults, and the packaging is perfect for home and away, since it is deemed a "refill" for a plastic tub, but also reseals nicely for use elsewhere. The smell is refreshing, not overpowering. In addition to the obvious, post-toilet paper use suggested by the icons on the package, these are great for hand-wiping when there is no running water nearby.

All right, here's a product that very few enjoy talking about, but we all have a use for. You know, not exactly dinner conversation, but we all do it be it morning, afternoon, evening or night.
First off, the picture doesn't always come up properly (you have to pick the four of the wipes) as this is NOT toilet paper. This is the 40 count Refill pack, being sold as a box of 12 packs of 40 wipes in each.
Remember years ago when if you wanted a cleaner behind, you had to get some toilet paper or tissue and wet it at the sink then go to work, and the paper would start breaking apart? Well these Charmin wipes are a major advancement!
KEEP in mind you're going to need something to keep these in! Once you open a pack, unless you have one of the container holders for these wipes (sold separately) from Charmin, they are going to dry out. If you're in a spot where you don't have time to run to a store and pick up a container, you could use a zip lock bag as these wipes fit perfectly in a zip lock bag (yes this is what I did until I got to a store). But the containers are better as they allow you to tear them off better and are also air tight. And the containers come with wipes inside them as well, so you SAVE the CONTAINER. And if you have any of the competitors Charmin, their container will work as well (I found this out later).
These wipes "work" well. Not a replacement to toilet paper, but a secondary line of cleaning. Cleans you off good, especially during those smell, messy times on the toilet (OK that sounds bad but everyone knows what I'm talking about). Nice scent. Not a perfume scent. Soft on the behind. They're flushable, so it's not like years ago when you had to put them in the trash. And they don't break up while you're wiping! Very durable!
Try them, your behind will thank you, and you'll feel better.

Charmin Freshmates work very well for their primary intended use, providing just the right amount of moisture on flushable wipes that are soft yet durable enough that they don't leave crumbs of paper behind (sorry if this is "too much information", but these reviews are supposed to be "helpful"). They also pull easily enough one at a time from their bag-like dispenser. Just peel back the moisture-preserving flap, pull a wipe free, then close the flap over again (an adhesive keeps the flap in place).
Although the packaging is described as a "refill pack" to be placed inside a more permanent dispenser, I found that the soft packaging worked just fine on its own. While the recommended dispenser might make for a prettier design in your bathroom (don't know, haven't seen it), it's definitely an option and not a necessity.
Oh, yes-- I soon discovered that Charmin Freshmates are great for a variety of uses in addition to their advertised purpose. Try them for for simple clean-ups all around the house. They're great for small spills, shining up the bathroom faucet, small clean-up jobs related to your pets (our one cat periodically leaves hairballs around the house), and other household uses.
All in all, this is a great, versatile product. In fact, I intend to pick up a supply at the store, at my own expense, now that my Amazon Vine sample supply is running low.

Honestly, I was disappointed when these arrived as I *thought* (based on the picture Amazon has on the product page) that what I was getting was a pack of Charmin toilet paper, and instead what arrived was a box of wet wipes. In my household we do not ordinarily use wet wipes and I suspect that adopting a new habit will be hard so these might end up sitting there for years until they dry out and are thrown away. That said, the product itself is high quality. I used to think that toilet paper was toilet paper until I tried the Charmin paper and discovered that it truly is thicker, softer and just better than other brands. The same is true of these wipes. They are thick and soft. I prefer non-perfumed to any kind of perfume, but if you like perfumed products, the aroma in these is not too overpowering.
