I was hesitant to get a "green" tissue product. In years past, that label was synonymous with very thin and rough paper. But, the Scott product was a pleasant surprise. It is soft and feels the same as non-recycled products out there. And, Amazon's price was great for these long lasting rolls. Definitely recommend as a green alternative to regular bath tissue.

i got a 12 pak of these and then been getting a 4 pak of every other brand and nothing compairs to the strenghth of the scott extra soft. i just think its the perfect thickness. i would hate when i would use some other brands such as angel soft or charmin...angel soft is too think and tears while using it often and charmin is too thick that almost every time i used it my toilet would clog ive never had that problem with any other tissue. We have been using this paper for over a year. It is the best paper for 1.5 gallon flush toilets we have ever used. We have not had a clog since we started using this. My husband checked to see if our septic tank needed to be emptied and he said there was no paped at all in it .I believe him because even as your flushing you can see it breaking into small pieces.

I have reviewed this item before in its prior incarnation - basically, I tolerated it because it helps manage our septic system. The new, improved version here is MUCH better.
